Support for Gaushalas

On March 3, 2026, the state government released ₹68 crore to 602 Gaushalas (cow shelters) across Haryana, reinforcing its commitment to animal welfare and supporting these essential community institutions.

Empowering Women Across Haryana

To mark International Women's Day on March 8, 2026, a significant amount of ₹1,357 crore was transferred to approximately 35 lakh women beneficiaries under various women-centric schemes.

This builds upon earlier efforts, including a disbursement on February 10, 2026, where ₹193 crore was transferred to 9,22,452 women beneficiaries under the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana, bringing the cumulative release under this scheme to ₹634 crore across four installments. The scheme provides monthly financial assistance of ₹2,100 to eligible women aged 23 years and above from families with an annual income below ₹1 lakh, with expanded eligibility for certain categories of families earning up to ₹1.80 lakh annually. The Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi mobile application was launched on September 25, 2025, to facilitate applications for this scheme.

Additionally, under the Har Ghar Har Grahani Scheme, subsidies for cooking gas were provided, with ₹38.97 crore credited to 12.62 lakh women who refilled LPG cylinders for November and December on February 10, 2026.

Social Security for Vulnerable Sections

On March 9, 2026, an additional ₹1,884 crore was disbursed under various social security and welfare schemes. A substantial portion of this, ₹842.92 crore, was directly transferred into the bank accounts of 26.12 lakh beneficiaries through the Social Security Pension Schemes of the Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes and Antyodaya (SEWA) Department. These benefits include Old Age Allowance, Disability Allowance, and other crucial social security pensions, providing a vital safety net for the state's most vulnerable citizens.

Farmers' Relief and Crop Insurance

The agricultural community also received significant support, with ₹711.69 crore credited to the bank accounts of 1,67,460 farmers as insurance claims for Kharif-2025 crops under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. DAYALU Yojana for Financial Security

Under the DAYALU Yojana (Deen Dayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana), ₹205.42 crore was distributed to 5,409 beneficiaries/families on March 9, 2026. This scheme aims to provide financial assistance in case of an accident or untimely death of a person aged between 6 and 60 years in a family. Cumulatively, under the DAYALU scheme, a total of ₹2086.77 crore has been distributed to 55,407 families so far.

Housing and Arhtiya Assistance

The 'Housing for All' scheme saw ₹67 crore transferred to 12,353 families, aiding them in achieving the dream of homeownership. Additionally, ₹56.97 crore was directly transferred to the bank accounts of 11,199 arhtiyas (commission agents) as an additional commission for paddy and bajra for the Rabi-Kharif season 2024-25, recognizing their crucial role in the agricultural ecosystem.
